Allow only member to view event descriptions?
Is there a way to have the calendar viewable to the public, but when the description is clicked to view details of the event it requires a member sign-in for access?

Not presently. We allow protection of the full calendar view, but not down to the granularity of event descriptions. I'll add this to our member-wish list though!
