Great attendance, thank you! And thank you for celebrating my birthday! We also sang happy birthday to Robert, Ben and Ken, so 4 rounds of Happy Birthday's went out at this meeting.  Amy's (Zebra car) birthday was on the 26th.  Make sure to add your events to the calendar, all events you think Art Car Klub members might enjoy attending.  Get into the discussion at our discussion boards.  The Treasury will be boosted by our Trader's Village appearance on Sunday, October 5th.  World Art Car Day: Please see the website for infomation. We have a full day of events planned, including TWO workshops for children that day.  I had an enthusiastic offer of hands from those wanting to participate in the Gifts with a Heart workshop from 10a-3p. HACK WILL PROVIDE CARS, DOO-DADS, GEE-GAWS, GLUE, PAINT, EVERYTHING NEEDED TO MAKE A MINITURE ART CAR.  Scouts will be getting badges for making art cars! I need a point person for this event, someone who will be there the entire time.  This workshop will be at the Lowe's at Gulfgate. Our annual and traditional children's workshop at the Art Car Museum will still happen as well and volunteers are needed to assist ACM employees. The Art Car Museum has generously offered to supply cars and accessories to make them for the children - a huge thank you to the Art Car Museum. Dash plaques are still needed for WACD 2008, and I'm looking for art. Please send me any jpeg's you think would fit on a 1x3 inch plaque. If I don't recieve any I will put something together.  New Year's Eve will be at Kennywood again this year. A huge thank you to Ken Crimmins!  Please see the website for details.The Montrose Beer and Gun Club will hold their annual event at the West Alabama Ice House. This event is on our calendar. The Orange Show Gala is on Saturday, Nov 1. Please contact the Orange Show if you have any questions re their event. Dinner following our meeting was fun and I think we should do that more often!
