Problems with iCal feed Reply to this Post
Reply with Quote

We use localendar for our church app and import the localendar into the app via the iCal feed.

Our calendar: http://localendar.com/public/tpcsanbenito
Our iCal feed: http://localendar.com/public/tpcsanbenito?style=X2

When we opened our app today, the calendar was empty. We reached out to the support from our app hosting company and the support guy said:

"Ok, for some reason it looks like the events on the calendar are no longer attached to the iCal feed. I would suggest reaching out to Localendar to see why the events are no longer connected."

Can anyone help me with this?

When I downloaded the file at http://localendar.com/public/tpcsanbenito?style=X2, it was full of iCalendar events.

Are you sure the issue is not with the app that you are using? For example, maybe you should be downloading the iCal feed via https?

Anyway - if you try and download the file for yourself, you should see it is not empty.

I also tested the feed here: https://icalendar.org/validator.html?url=http://localendar.com/public/tpcsanbenito?style=X2 , and it validated it contains 568 events.
