We've also made some adjustments on our side to tighten the alerts we get for this sort of stuff. There might be some more false positives, but hopefully we get a little bit more lead team for attacks in the future. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Slow performance issue seems to be occurring again. Calendar takes up to several minutes to load; moving from one calendar page to the next can take up to a minute. Was getting ready to roll out localendar pro as the calendar app for my website, because it has features my customers will love, but now am re-thinking that. Help??? |

As I have mentioned in the past, each time your calendar is refreshed, localendar refreshes any imported iCal feeds. This is in contrast to sites like Google, which cache iCal feeds; but then users do not see updates for some time (sometimes > 24 hours!) What this means is that your calendar will not be displayed until any imported feed is loaded. In the case of your calendar (horseshowconcierge), you are importing 2 separate iCal feeds from Google that are slow. If you think the calendar is slow, try hitting our test "health check" calendar first: http://localendar.com/public/heartbeatprocess If that page comes up quickly, most likely the delay is with imported iCal feeds. One solution is to export your Google calendars as .ics files and import those into localendar (instead of as dynamic urls). You will need to remove/reimport those files is the external calendars change however. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Hi Marc, I don't import any external calendars and the website was very slow earlier today. Seems back to normal now. Thanks for all your hard work. - Don |
