Your sig is being displayed, but the extended information you pasted (an image from the Post Editor?) is not being parsed. It appears that HTML or custom formatting in a sig may not be supported. I will look into the issue further. In the meantime, I recommend a text based sig. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I have tried several different ways to get it to work. I tried manually typing the html code. I tried pulling code from another post and just adding my own url. I currently have the auto code in the system from photobucket. It generates the bb code for you automatically and you just copy and paste it. I can get images to work in the main thread and I will demonstrate that in a moment, but the code in the sig does not work. ![]() ---------------------------------------- Cpl. Hence my message: Images and HTML work in the message body, but not the sig. I don't know that images were ever intended to be supported in the sig. This is not a case of something being broken, but a new feature which you are requesting. The sig editor doesn't offer any functionality to add html or [img] tags; these are things which you had to do manually (but that doesn't mean it's going to work, just b/c you added it) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Im sorry but I dont buy that excuse. Especially given the fact that it had worked in the past and suddenly and mysteriously just up and stopped working!! Every other Forum software on the planet supports BB code for signatures. Why doesnt yours? My users are asking for this feature. If you cant supply it, Ill have no choice but to find another service or hire someone to build me a php based board!! ---------------------------------------- Cpl. As I mentioned - I don't think that we've every supported rich-text sigs, so I don't follow your comment about it "suddenly" not working. I can appreciate your desire to have it supported; but there is a prioritized task list, and right now it's not scheduled as a planned enhancement. One of the differences between our implementation and a php-based site is that we are hosting separate, non-linked forums for thousands of members. Typically, a php solution is per single site. The architectures are radically different. That's not to excuse why the feature-sets aren't identical; just to address your point about "every other solution on the planet". ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
