Have trial version of Premium and am attempting to see how well this will work as a group calendar where 3 people access using same id and password and sync individually with Outlook.

But unable to export....keep getting error wanting to install Wynsc. Seems to install but nothing happens.

Wow.. that's a little harsh - especially since you provided no further details about your issue (what O/S, version, etc) *And* it was over the weekend (and we might have other stuff in our queue besides)

level of support provided......NONE

The forum is literally jammed with thousands of posts from support (often in response to the same issues b/c people don't bother to search.. did you search for Wyncs, btw?). If you'd happen to look around, you'd see we provide tons of support.

BTW, there is also a plain Outlook-compatible CSV export at in the event you can't get Wyncs working immediately.

My note was not intended to be harsh. I was simply attempting to make a decision on what calendar our organization should use. Without an indication to the contrary, I assumed 24/7 support. We are a team of users not IT techies. Our needs are simple, currentlly 3 people accessing a single group calendar with full functionality and the ability to sync to our Blackberry, Palm and Windows-based phones. My current question is: If I am eventually able to get my PC to sync Outlook with Localendar, will it be a true sych that will change events or simply overlay a snapshot of data onto an existing calendar?

Just how long should one wait for a response to a concern?

Hmm.. 2 days seems to be our SLA wink

I wish we could provide 24/7 support, but unless we stop giving away the free calendars and start charging more than $9.95/yr for the Basic premium one, that's not in our immediate future.

The sync is basically one-way. Updating events on localendar will cause those events to be updated on your Outlook calendar. However, we do not round-trip updated Outlook events back into localendar.

The CSV solution is more limited: It just exports (no updates); meaning you would have duplicate events if you didnt clear your calendar first.

And I'd still like to help with your problem, which means I need to know what version of Outlook, Windows, etc you are running.

I am using Windows Vista and Outlook 2007. We have been working successfully with the calendar, but we really would like to sync with Outlook and ultimately with our BlackBerrys. Please help. Thanks.

Is there anybody in the forum that can help with the problem of not being able to import/export to MS Outlook. Or anyone aware of a better calendar program?

I did a quick search of the forums on "Vista export" and it appears a member had a working solution here:

(running IE in admin mode)

Contacted Wyncs who gave me the full solution and it works--not just some quick answer fired back from someone who thinks they have all the answers. Something we all should be used to these days.
