Hello, I'm having problems with my interactive mini-calendar. When I try to change the colour (in options > colors) the colours I select for the text on Weekday colors, Weekend colors, and Different months do not change on my website. These three follow the text colour of my website's css. I removed the text colour css from my website to see if maybe the css was overriding the calendar style, but the mini-calendar still won't show the colours I selected in the colour options. |

Can you post a link to the page where you've published the calendar? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Certainly. http://waveringshadows.webs.com/calendar.html In the page css I've set the font colour to be white. In the calendar colour options however I've set the Weekday and Weekend colours to be #697574 and the Different months colour is set to be #404040, yet all three follow my page's css instead. |

Hmm.. I didnt see the color changes you mentioned when I went under Options->Colors for your account. What I did see when I impersonated you was that the large month calendar displayed the same colors as the mini one (which is what should happen - but the colors didnt seem to be what you thought they should be) So I went into Options->Colors, set the weekend background to blue, clicked Save, and then voila the colors on the Mini calendar also showed blue for the weekend. I would suggest making the color changes again, clicking Save, and see if you see the changes reflected on your calendar right on localendar.com. Then check to see if they're on your mini calendar as well. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

But the changes I've selected don't show up on the mini calendar on my website, that's the problem. The colour options I've set in the control panel works perfectly, but these settings don't work on my website. Here's a screenshot of the control panel: http://i1070.photobucket.com/albums/u496/waveringshadows/calendar.png This is the colour setting I want. This setting is saved and shows on the large month calendar as well as the mini-calendar. These settings however do not show up when I publish the mini calendar on my website: http://waveringshadows.webs.com/calendar.html As you can see, the colour options I've selected and saved does not translate onto the published mini-calendar on my webpage. |

I guess I wasnt clear in my last message. I changed the colors on your account, and I saw the changes reflected on your page at http://waveringshadows.webs.com/calendar.html For example, I just changed your colors again. I made the weekday bg color green and the text white. I went back to http://waveringshadows.webs.com/calendar.html and there they are: green and white. When I first hit your page, the colors matched your png exactly. Perhaps your browser is caching your page, and you're not seeing the changes you're making? B/c it all seems fine to me. That's very strange cos I've tried viewing the page in three different browsers (FF, IE and Chrome) on two different computers and I have cleared the cache and it still won't work. Is there a way to change the colour in the script instead? Like, I can fix the numbers colour by setting a colour to .localendar-mini td, th but obviously that changes all the numbers including the days of different months which I should like a different colour. |

I've just been flipping back and forth between your live example and screenshot. The only different is that the text on days that have events are a sort of golden color. Is this the one difference you are seeing? If that's the case, you can change the CSS color in the .localendar-hasEvents { section. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
