Is there an option for the ADD AN EVENT button NOT to be displayed at the bottom of a calendar if this option is turned on? I like this feature but don't want it prominent on all calendars as it is a member's only option. I fear I will be weeding through submissions for people who see the link and didn't read "the fine print"...

Yes, under Options General you can uncheck Allow Users to Add Events, which will hide the button. If you still distribute the URL behind the button, I believe the form will still work at this time.
