I would like to know if anyone a solution what seems to be a pretty straight forward question.

My calendar has two categories. One is a schedule of who is working what event with a green color, the second is an updated event with a red color. The scheduler puts out the the original schedule and if anything changes along the way they change the category to updated (red). This way people don't have to drill down into every event, they just look at the category and drill down into the updated (red) changes to see what was adjusted.

But the problem is every time that someone clicks on an arrow to move backward/forward to another month, the categoy boxes reset to being checked, and both categories are visible. I was hoping I could just click on the Updated (Red) and every month I went through would only show updated events.

Has anyone found a way to keep the category selected active while you change months? If not does anyone have a starting idea for me.. Or maybe just search for the updated category?

Thanks...

It's true we don't persist the category selections when you move forward/back, because the category filtering happens on the user's browser, while the calendar refresh is a new page that's sent down. Still, I have to agree that what you say makes sense and it probably should work that way. I'll pass this along to the dev team.
