For reminders, or events added to your calendar by others?
Email reminders come from remind_agent@localendar.com
Event addition notifications come from calendar_monitor@localendar.com

Please check your spam folder to make sure emails from these addresses are not being filtered.

I am not receiving email notifications as a calendar monitor or as someone posting an event. I have checked the email and reset the email plus checked my web mail to make sure there were no spam filters blocking notifications.

Would you please check the account to see what is causing this problem?

ohvaparents

Thank you

I am not a Comcast customer but I will try it again with a self test to see if anything has changed. I will not be moderating the calendar in the future but will share the support findings with the owner of the calendar.

No email notification. Would reset all on the pink tab do anything? I also unchecked and rechecked the notification box and saved general preferences hoping to make something happen. It stopped sending weeks ago and I was unaware of the problem. If you have any solutions, please let me know and I will pass it along to the calendar owner. I am no longer monitoring this calendar due to this problem.

The calendar is ohvaparents and has been in operation for many years. Any help is appreciated. If there is no solution other than making the posts public when the events are posted, then please advise that as well. That way the calendar owner will know what to do about either closing or considering changing the way the calendar is monitored.

I did some troubleshooting this morning and discovered that the zoominternet.net email I was using for notifications was the culprit. I changed my notification email address out to yahoo.com and it is working properly. Zoominternet is from Armstrong Cable which is my primary email provider and I have used it since last October 2013 with no trouble for notifications on the calendar.

I have notified the calendar owner of the possibility of this problem should something crop up again like this with other monitor help.

Some email providers are adding a new level of security in the fight against spam (and then out-right rejecting messages and not even putting them in a spam folder)

We are working to implement more changes on our side that will circumvent this issue. Ideally, a mail system should use *multiple* indicators to try and identify spam, but not everyone is so thorough cool
