Hi,

I am trying to import my outlook calendar into localendar for use in wordpress. I have followed the instructions how to upload the file, saving my outlook calendar as an .ics file. However when I select the file it says that 'Upload does not appear to be a valid iCalendar (ics) file'

Could you please provide some guidance of where I am going wrong?

Many thanks

Can you please give it another try - and open a support ticket (Contact Us in the footer) if it still doesn't work.

Tx

Hi,

I have tried again like you suggested and posted a message in the contact us, but not sure this has been received. I am still experiencing the same problem but get this message now:

Verifying header row
Verifying required column: subject ... found.
Verifying required column: start date ... found.
Verifying required column: start time ... found.
Verifying required column: end date ... found.
Verifying required column: end time ... found.

Verifying required column: private ... found.
Verifying optional column: location ... not found.

Parsing event file

Results
634 event(s) processed.

Click here to return to your calendar.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tx. We'll follow this up via your ticket. It looks like the u/l is being mis-indentified as a CSV import for some reason and not ics.

Hi any update on this please? Temporarily I've manually added the Calendar events but this is not a viable long term solution for us.

Did you see our response to your ticket (a couple of days ago I believe)
This should be working correctly for some general quirkiness Outlook is doing. The ics doesn't actually pass as a valid iCal file at http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/
But we were able to make some changes to accommodate it.
