I want the calendar to show events starting May 01, 2014, the calendar will only have events from may to sept each year, any idea of setting a seed date, or creating a unique search of the calendar to provide events which I want shown.

Not sure I understand.. but that won't stop me from making some suggestions :)

You can add the &start_date parameter to display your calendar starting at a certain date. For example:
http://www.localendar.com/public/cov1m2ndflr?start_date=5/1/14

You can use the Today+Happening soon view (set 60-day look-ahead under Options->General, Show More) to show only the days in the next 2 months that have events.

http://www.localendar.com/public/cov1m2ndflr?style=D2&start_date=5/1/14
(right now, your calendar is only set up for a 10-day look-ahead)
