Help. It's the end of January 2014 but I want to post the February calendar on our church web site now (since the last week in Jan will still show). When I attempt to publish the new calendar the page reverts to the January calendar- and offers me the old Jan HTML code. crying

Can you share a link to your page?
The calendar should always default to displaying the current month.
The exception is if you manually added the "start_date" parameter to force it to show a different period.
