Things seem fine on our side, but I'm going to schedule a reboot of the mail server just as a test tonight.

I hadn't seen a problem since the restart. If you request your password from the homepage, does that come through?

Thanks for the suggestion. It's been about 10 minutes since I requested the password, and it has not been emailed to me. Still not getting email notifications either. Any other suggestions? Thanks. Marilyn

I have tried email notification (to approve events added by visitors to our calendar), but neither gmail.com or yahoo.com seem to be receiving these emails. I sent test notifications several times using each as my email contact address. I am hoping to get this worked out because I have really been recommending this calendar to lots of people! Thanks, -Lindy Rex

I am not sure what post under "annoucements" you are referring to, but if it is the firefox one, that wasn't the problem.

I am still not getting the email notifications. The "add event" button on the public version of my calendar does work. It adds an event to my calendar (as private, which we can change to public when we log in). And, it gives the "visitor" a message saying that the event will be added pending approval by the calendar manager.
********** The issue is that the EMAIL NOTIFICATION of the event addition is never received. *********

So, users add stuff to our calendar, but we have no way of knowing which events are new and need to be approved. Granted, we can click on every single event (to see if it is private or public) or compare a "public" version of our calendar day by day with a private one, but the email notification seems SO MUCH BETTER!! If only it worked!

Please help!!! javascript:smilie('confused')

THANKS! -Lindy Rex

I still have the same problem!!! Localendar is very nice but the e-mail-notification would be extremely useful...

I have the same problem. No E-mails. It would be nice to have them sent again.
