Will the link on the group calendar page point to the new discussion group or will a user have to type in the new url? Will there be any means of tranferring old discussion threads to the new forum?

Sorry, I believe this was answered in a few threads already.

There is no migration from the old discussion threads to these forums.

I had thought the old forum link in calendar footers already pointed to the new ones; but maybe that got mis-rolled back in a release. I'll have to check into that one.
