Help. We have a XIBO digital signboard and had a rolling RSS feed calendar with the calendar we had been using. We used a perl script to 'read' the html calendar, and then parsed out the calendar information, and then printed out the RSS feed for the XIBO signboard. Does anyone have any ideas for the best way to do this? We'd want to be able to read a date range (today plus 3 days for example). I'm just getting started looking at this, perhaps its obvious and I just haven't figured it out yet. Thanks! Kirby |

If I am reading your use case correctly.. the XIBO signboard already understands RSS? Why not just use the RSS feed directly from localendar? You can use the RSS for the Today+Happening soon view, and configure that view to only look ahead 2 or 5 days (under Options->General, Show More>>) Your RSS feed for this view is at: https://localendar.com/public/PUCCAdmin?style=D4 ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
