The event color picker looks different under Netscape and Internet Exploder.

I like the quick pick colors in Netscape and don't the way it works in IE (too many options and no way to quickly figure out what color a previous event color is without going into it). We have events for each family member in seperate colors and need a quick way to pick each one.
Actually having both options in both browsers would be cool.

I can e-mail you screen shots of what I see if you would like.

We actually support named colors from the browser-safe color palette, so you can actually type names like "blue", "red", "yellow" etc in that box and it will work.

Also, if you are planning on letting each family member create their own calendar and then merging them onto a single master view, you can specify that the events coming from each particular calendar should have a specific color.

Cool. I did find that out after I posted this message (the first time I searched all the posts for the word color - nothing came back - I thought that odd but it I tried 3-4 times and nothing would come back so I assumed there were no threads refering to this issue).

However the quick picker colors in Netscape are not the same as the named ones in IE. Just my opinion - Most of the named ones are too dark\at one end of the spectrum to be used with words in front of them.

The 8 colors in Netscape are perfect:
cyan, yellow, green, shale, fushia, peach, purple, white

IEs named colors aren't even close how good they look in Netscape.

BTW - using Netscape 8.1

PS. At this point our family is just using one calendar and each of us is entering on the same one (we only have 4 people-two of which are allowed on the Internet).
Our color codes are:
1 color for each person
white for vacations
peach for BDays/Anis
