Okay, I upgraded to the premium service to have a discussion board and for people to add their events to my calendar.

I am not sure if this was done correctly. I have paid for it

When I go to the calendar through the webiste
www.regionhjaycees.com I cannot add an event nor do I see the message board.

HELP!!!!!

I have tried adding the fully interacitve embbed calendar link and the same thing happens.

Having a subscription which covers these features does not automatically add the buttons which link to them.

For "Adding an Event", you'll want to click Options, and set up the "Allow visitors to add calendar events" box.

There is also a box for "Include Discussion Board" links.
But an important message about checking that box:

Checking that box will add a link that takes you to the "classic" discussion boards (www.localendar.com/topics/yourmembername)

Your subscription also allows you to create discussion forums like this one (the address for those is www.localendar.com/forums/yourmembername)

We have plans to make the link point to the new forums instead of the old ones, but we have to make sure we notify all the current users first.

So, you have 2 options: Add a button to the old forums (not recommended), or add some HTML to your calendar's footer to make a link to the new forums. For example:

<A HREF="http://www.localendar.com/forums/yourmembername">Go to the cool new forums</A>

Hope that helps!
