the colors are not showing up any more under options. so all the colors in my calendar have changed. can this be fixed?

Hmm; wheter or not the colors show up, your calendar shouldn't change. Can I ask what browser/os you are using? Do you have access to a PC w/IE, and can you correct your colors there?

It would also be nice to save color schemes so we can use them over again quicker. For example, there are 3 of us in the family, anything my wife does would be in a blue shade, my daughter in green and myself in red. If I could save the colors I wouldn't have to remember each time what the html color code for each are.

One of the ways we went about this already was to support color-coding for merged calendars. So if your wife, daughter, and yourself keep separate calendars and merge them onto a master 'family calendar', you can set a color for events from each calendar.
