Hello,

I want to send event notifications to a private Yahoo Group. Since all notifications seem to come from remind_agent@localendar.com, that needs to be a valid 'member' of the Yahoo group. Has anyone figured out a way to make this email address a member of their private Yahoo group? I can't invite it, because I don't own it.

As a workaround, I tried setting up an autoforward rule (Localendar sends to my Gmail, Gmail forwards to Yahoo Group). The problem is that I need to validate the remind_agent@localendar.com address with a code, which I can't do either. Kind of stuck.
Thank you.

The problem with a private Yahoo group (from their own documentation) is
"Invited users need to accept the invitation, sign-in with their Yahoo ID to become members." (emphasis mine)

Assuming we could automate answering an invitation email from yahoo to our unmonitored reminder account, that account would also have to have a set of Yahoo credentials, sign in (and subsequently receive whatever daily digest had been configured)

I like your rule/autoforward idea, but you lost me at "The problem is that I need to validate the remind_agent@localendar.com address with a code,"
Can you explain that in a little more detail?
