Hello,

We are using the Category feature to have many different "calendars" set up in our account. All of these different calendars, have the same exact information, however, they are associated with different dates.

Currently, I am copying each individual date and assigning a new date and new category for it to create my new "calendar". Is there an easier way to do this?
Am I able to copy an entire category set and assign new dates? This would save me tons of time.

Please advise!

Thanks!

I've been thinking about this.. b/c it seems like you are doing a lot of extra busywork, but it also doesn't seem like there's a clear solution...

I am wondering.. what about exporting your calendar to an iCal file (forget the category for now). You open that file in a text editor, and search/replace to change all the dates. Then you upload that ical file back into your calendar. You can set imported iCals to have a specific color, so that effectively takes the place of how you are using different categories.

Maybe try that w/ 1 file as a test now and see if it's any easier?

Here's the thing.. if you export the calendar now, with *all* your events in it, and then reimport it, you'll have tons of duplicate information. You almost want to keep 1 "master" set of events on the calendar, and handle all the other events (in different "categories") via this ical export/import method.
