Is there any way to set the default duration for reminders for all events at once? Currently, the default is 15 minutes, the first selection in the pick list. I would like to set all events to receive a reminder 2 days before the event without having to open each and every event.

20 years in - and the first time this has come up :)
This is a good idea - and we already have a section for Reminder Defaults under Options->General.

I will pass your suggestion along to our developers. smile
