Seems like everything gets slower and slower, even when on your web-site my calendar loads very slowly. (I have three feeds from my ical, but even if I remove them, it still not up to speed.) Noticed it first on my website where have embedded my calendar. Thought it was just the loading from localendar to my site, but I believe there must be something else going on. Any ideas? Anything I can try to speed things up? Are others still having this issue? |

I'm having the same problem. When I am adding or removing events from localendar, it takes 10-15 seconds 'Waiting for Localendar' each time I click on Save, Preview, etc. And the same thing happens when someone is looking at the calendar on my website, and attempts to view a different month, etc. Harry |

Looking into this.. There is a relatively high amount of "bogus" traffic calling the site and looking for invalid content. This is being ignored, but it is like a mini-DOS attack. Still, we have various processes in place that should handle it better. The servers should take some additional measures when they sense this type of overload - looking at the logs it appears that these aren't kicking in quickly enough. I've tightened a few settings and things seem better for now. It's a skeleton crew b/c of the holiday, but we'll keep a closer eye on things. No worries - we noticed in the past couple of days people also probing the site for common vulnerabilities (i.e., SQL injection) and trying to inject their own content. 20 years.. it never ends ![]() ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

We noticed some network slowdown ourselves today, which appears to be resolved. We do have some watchdog monitoring in place specifically for localendar's servers, but our control can only extend so far once traffic leaves our local datacenter. Even Google, Netflix, etc are all subject to occasional performance issues due to internet infrastructure. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Things have gone really well for a long time, but it looks like the same issues as mentioned above are starting to take place again. Could you take a look and see if there is a reason for this on your end. Thanks You can take a look at https://cbccorinth.org/calendar/ |

For your specific calendar, the three (externally hosted) imported iCal feeds appear the be the cause of the slowdown. Localendar can't display the calendar until those sites respond with their data. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
