I have a problem, with exporting merged calendars. Im not sure this is possible:

I got two different calendars from a program I use (CAL1 and CAL2), thats lets me export *.ICS urls.

Both CAL1 and CAL2 are merged in Localendar.

I create an event (Meeting) from CAL1.

It shows up in Localendar.

But when I import Localendar to CAL2 (In my program), the created event from CAL1 is not imported, even though it is shown i Localendar.

Is it possible that Localender ALSO export merged calendars?

Sincerely,
Martin

localendar currently only supports the export of the main calendar and not any calendars that are merged into it.

This may change in the future, but it the short reason for this behavior is performance related. Internally, localendar does not actually merge all the feeds you import. They are only "merged" visibly in the user interface when you are viewing a particular period of your calendar.

To actually merge all the imports that could be brought into the calendar would require the normalization of a lot of data, and since we also don't control the performance of any feeds merged live from external sources we can't guarantee good response time for users.
