I created a localendar account (pgl_edinburgh) then added the App to Weebly which advises that the two will be linked: I was presented with the option to Log In to my Localendar account, which I did: I then started editing a Weebly page, and dragged the Localendar blockonto the page. Instead of getting my calendar I get a generic calendar: If I click on the calendar as it suggests, I get the main Localendar site, with the Weebly Top bar: If I click on the Login option, and sign in with my pgl_edinburgh credentials: It simply returns to the Localendar main page without logging in, and pressing the Weebly 'Done' button, returns to the generic calendar. I have gone through this process several times, but seem unable to link the two accounts. This is the only calendar app on Weebly which offers the functionality which I require, but I won't pay for it if the connectivity doesn't work. |

Ever since Google updated how Chrome handles cookies from external sites, we'd had an issue with broken auth between localendar and weebly. If we adjust our cookie policy to work specifically with Weebly, then it breaks sign-ins at localendar.com (also undesirable) The working (but unsatisfying) solution for now is to just visit localendar.com directly to sign in and add/update your calendar. To include the calendar on your Weebly site, you can just use our Publish Wizard to generate the HTML, and use that directly on your weebly page: https://www.weebly.com/app/help/us/en/topics/create-widgets-embed-code-and-add-external-content For your calendar, you would use the html below with the directions above: <script type="text/javascript" src="//localendar.com/js/PublishedResponsiveIframe.js"></script> ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Okay - thanks for the update. I had already done the implementation in Weebly as you suggested using the publish script. We may just have to live with loggin in to localender separately: that's not ideal, but the compromise may be necessary to get the functionality which Localendar provides, but no-one else does! |

Thank you - I know it's not the ideal situation and if we can make it smooth again, we will ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
