I am wondering if there is any way to have two calendars that have the exact same info (without having to enter the info twice), but one calendar has the ability to add extra info to it?

My scenario is this...

We need two calendars:
Calendar #1: Just for informational purposes (to view the classes)
Calendar #2: For registration (still has all the class info from calendar #1, but i
includes a link that goes to the class registration)

I don't think we'd need cobranding for this, and I don't think the merging option would work, so I'm not sure if there is a way...?

Actually, I think Merging is what you would want.
Let's start by assuming you make 2 calendars, A and B. A is the informational one, and B has everything from A, plus other events you would like to add.

Calendar A technically does not need any subscription (unless you want ads removed). You create public events on that calendar for your classes.
Calendar B gets at least a Personal subscription (which enables Merging). You merge A onto B (only public events are brought over). Whenever you add/update an event on A, it automatically appears on B.

Meanwhile, you can add events just to B that will only appear on B. Each calendar will have its own unique url:
https://localendar.com/public/A and https://localendar.com/public/B

(you can also use our publish wizard to generate the HTML/Script to embed the calendars inside webpage(s) on your site)

Please let me know if you have further questions.

How do you make another calendar? I want to have two for specific classes I have. I have similar things that I need on both calendars, but I want to change some things for each class as well. HELP!

You can make another calendar simply by creating a new signup (you can use the same email address). localendar only has 1 calendar associated per each login (though you can merge calendars from different logins together)
