I'm pretty new at this. I paid $29.95 for the service thinking that the Discussion Boards will be a good way to communicate within our group. My calendar seems to work for everyone. I put the 'Discussion Board' link on the bottom of my calendar but perhaps I'm naive. When I click that link it takes me to an Error screen. This is my calendar link: http://www.localendar.com/public/ch/thssoccer Does each person have to sign up as members and pay the premium fee to be able to communicate this way? We're a high school soccer program with about 80 members. That seems to me that we will pay $800 to use this feature. Seems like a lot. I can't find any answers to this question in the Community forums. Thanks for any help! |

First, part of your concern is our fault ![]() The link on your forum button should point to: http://www.localendar.com/forums/ch/thssoccer not http://www.localendar.com/forums/thssoccer We'll get an emergency fix out for that. In the meantime, you can turn off the Forums button and add html to link to the correct address if you wish. Anyone who wishes to post to your forum *will* have to create an account at localendar.com (so we have an id/pass for them). But they do not need to purchase any subscription. Once you have purchased the Premium Webmaster subscription, no further purchase is necessary for you or your users. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I just did some more checking, and I also turned on the Discussion Forums button on the bottom of your calendar. It seems we are already using the correct link. So, my question is, where did you come up with the incorrect link that you were using originally? Is it show on some part of the site that needs to be corrected? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Sorry, I used your original 'fix' and haven't checked back. I may be confused- are the discussion boards different from forums? If so, how? When I check the option to 'include discussion board link', it puts a button on the bottom of the calendar. But when I go to the calendar and click the button, I get the error screen that is pointing me to the incorrect site you referenced in your first reply. The html link the I put in my calendar footer is a link to the forums that were set up. I haven't gotten all my parents involved in the forums yet. Thank you for the followup customer service! |

Ugh. When last I checked, the link on that button looked fine; now it looks incorrect again. Let me see what's going on. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
