Under the options tab to edit your calendar/account, include a long footer sentence.

Something like:
To submit events to be included on this calendar, contact the webmaster at info@your-website-name-here.com or whatever other sentence makes sense to your viewers.

This sentence extends the width of the calendar...at least till localendar figures it out properly.

The root problem has been corrected, so no further hacks are necessary wink

I didn't think of it as a hack. Just using something localendar provides anyway to have the calendar look mostly normal again until tech support got to fix it properly.
