I looked through all the discussions and could not find a solution to the email reminders. I still do not receive them. I am trying to send reminders to a googlegroups address could that be the problem? Thanks |

Sending mail to google groups should not be a problem. If you try sending mail directly to yourself, do you receive it? Have you checked your spam/bulk folder? Who is your isp? If you request your password from our homepage, does that email arrive? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Ok. I tried the Password thing I got no email but It occured to me that I need to add the email address that the email is coming from to the googlegroup. That is probably why I am not getting it (duh!) Thanks |

I did the test with Password request and I got all of those emails at a different email address than what is indicated in the Options section of localendar.com This doesn't exactly function as described, though I prefer that my password requests go tho the address that is different from the reminders address. I guess I will have to wait till 2 days before my next event to see if the reminders are working (after adding localendar to my googlegroups) Thanks |

I had you do the password test just to make sure that our emails are making it through from our server. The email address that the "forgot password" function uses is the one you gave when you created your localendar account. If you'd like to change it, you can do so under Options->Security. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
