Here in Troy, NY, we have 3 zip codes... 12180, 12181, 12182... I use the broad main code 12180 as my default but we are actually in 12182. If I put search 12180, I get items showing in events.. If I put in 12182, I get nothing... Any chance of getting zips in or close to the zip code so if someone puts in 12182 they also see events in 12180? |

Again with the "angry" post icon? We do read these anyway, you know ![]() Hopefully, when people search for events, they will at least look within 15-30 minutes drive of a given zipcode, in which case one or more of the others will fall into the search also. With the varying size of zips geographically, and also the approximation of zip locations by the USGS (US Geological Service) automatically including others is most likely asking for trouble. As noted above; hopefully visitors will search for a reasonable range from their given home zip. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
