Edit this Post How do you make the Calendar Work??? Reply to this Post

Hello there,
Just wondering, I have pasted both the samples of the HTML text in my webpage, and neither one shows up completely. i have also tweaked the size dimensions and that doesn't seem to work either.

I am using Rapid Weaver as my Program, and have placed the text into an HTML Block for viewing on my Webpage.

Not sure why it isn't working, some of the calendar shows up, but not all of it. Some Direction would be appreciated. I am new at this Web Stuff, and probably not the sharpest knife in the drawer!!
Thanks for your time and attention.
Cheers,
JT

Hi there,

I saw your web page, at

http://tapstoneinn.com/Bees/Event%20Calendar/Calendar.html

I think it's really interesting that the calendar behaves differently in Internet Explorer versus firefox too.

I noticed you have an extra "\" in your close script. (after the localendar code)

I don't think that's the trouble, but it's good house keeping.

Hello there,
Thanks for looking.
So the Calendar doesn't show properly in Safari, Firefox, or Opera.
What gives???? IT gets cut off on the bottom and the far right.
I have tweaked the settings with no avail.... Suggestions.
Oh, and Yes, I believe that I did change th colours of the Calendar, I think I did that in the Edit mode!!

Cheers,
Thanks for the input,
JT

When I take the code as you have it on your website, and put it into a blank html page, it works properly.

The program you are using to create the web page, controls the height and width of the tables and objects in your page.

I personally couldn't make heads or tails of it....

sorry.

Mark, ideas?

it looks like the localendar code is being included in 2 places:

and

For starters, I'd remove both of these. Then, I would get the original HTML from the localendar Publish wizard for the type of calendar you want (embedded, fully-interactive embedded, etc) If you go with the fully-interactive embedded calendar, you will want to change the height/width settings on the iframe and ilayer tags (iframe is used by Internet Explorer, ilayer by Netscape/Firefox)

Thanks everyone for chiming in on this one!
