You show a church calendar in amongst your sample calendars but I can't see how I can customise my calendar to look like that.

How is this done?

Thanks

David

David,

What specifically, would you like to be similar between your calendar, and the sample calendar?

(And which sample are you speaking of? URL??)

When you log in to localendar, you have the gray box on the left side. If you click on "standard" then on "options" you can make numerous changes to your calendar, including colors.

To change the style, or layout of your calendar, click on "Publish" in the same gray box. Try different styles in the drop down box, under "step 2"

Try http://www.localendar.com/samples/church/index.html

So, how do we get a multi-week view?
How do we change the arrows?
How do we get the repeating events spanning the days as a single entry?

I don't think any of the customisation options you mention cover this because I've already looked, hence my question.

You can change a lot of the arrows, look-and-feel, etc under Options->Colors.

As for the view style; you can always look at the HTML source :-) but it's:

Did you ever figure out how to get the church background or to get blocks that span multiple dates? I would like to do that as well.

The "Boxes that span dates" thing is in my last message:
http://www.localendar.com/public/sample_church?style=M4

Just substitute your calendar's name (member logon) instead of "sample_church"

The church site is based on a web template we purchased; it's not part of localendar. We constructed those samples to show how localendar can be integrated into an existing web site.

If you search for "web templates" or "church web template" on Google you can find dozens of similar examples (some free, some not)
