I'm new to calendar programs. What I'm looking for is simply a calendar program that I can embed on my existing Web page, that will have my site's look and feel (header, footer, colors), and that only I can edit (not share). This is to show reservations and openings on a vacation rental site.

Can localendar fit the bill? It's not obvious to me after creating an account ...

Sure - you can click the Publish button on the left menu to generate the HTML to include localendar on your site.

Under Options, you can edit the colors, text, images etc to make localendar blend in with your site.
