Are you running Vista? My understanding is that the plugin needs to be installed when running as Administrator.

I have Windows XP Professional. It was working fine until I did some maintenance on my computer (like defrag and delete temporary internet files, etc). Please help!!

Can you try the following steps for uninstalling the current version of the plugin?

http://www.wyncs.com/6.0.1/

near the bottom of the page, find the sentence,

If the new plug-in does not fully install, remove all of the current version and try again to load the new one;

and click "remove" (why they didn't create a easy way to directly link to that page I have no idea)
