I cannot seem to add an event in the Firefox 3. It looks like everything is fine. I can click save and it looks to do what it is supposed to, but the events are never added. I really hate using IE and the program looks and feels different there, but that may be my only choice right now. Anyone else having problems with Firefox 3? |

Are you marking the events as Public when you add them? Or leaving them as Private (change this default under Options) I use FF 3 all the time (right now, even) with no problems. And Chrome works as well ![]() ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I know this is an old post, but I was wondering if there was ever a resolution to this problem. I use Firefox 5 and cannot get an event to add. Yes, I've checked to be sure that "public" was selected. Switched to IE and the event added correctly. I can't always switch to IE, though. |

I now use FF5, and I still can add events with no problems. The best way to test is for you to tell me exactly what event title, description, etc you are using so I can try and duplicate your problem exactly. Are you seeing any error on FF when you click Save? Any other messages? 44% of our Firefox traffic is using FF 5.0, so I don't think this is a problem specific to FF or we'd be seeing a lot of complaints. Are you running any custom FF extensions, or have you switched anything off (like javascript?) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Thank you for your attention. Tonight it's working. I don't know where the events I was trying to post on two separate occasions ended up. I'll probably find them a few years from now. I do typically run Firefox with downloadHelper and BlackSheep installed. Would either of those cause a problem? I can disable downloadHelper, but BlackSheep is the reason I run FF rather than IE. I definitely have Javascripts enabled. |

I'm not too familiar with that plugin (though I do recall the press around the session hijacking) so I can't say if it's the cause. I should have initially asked: Were you pasting any part of the events from a third-party app like MS Word? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

No - absolutely not pasting! I've learned that lesson! |
