Did the default email address for reminders used to cause you to send reminders for all events to that address? I am looking at some user issues where reminders never go out, but since I recently took over the web maintenance I don't have complete history of how things used to work. So, I guess a statement of how the default reminder address is used it what I need, and info on any changes to how it used to work. Can you help?

Reminder addresses are set on each event in the "Set a reminder" section. The default reminder addresses are set under Options->General

and I assume reminders only go out if one is selected for the specific event, right? That means every time an event is posted, the poster has to remember to set a reminder. Oh well, that is too error prone for most of our users....

Thanks for the answer!

I have made sure to set all of my events to remind me via email and have not been getting any of my reminders! Any suggestions? I have had my localendar for over 2 years and have been having this issue for the past 6 months.

See my response to your other thread; I have posted a test event to your calendar.
