There seems to be a problem with the RSS feeds. They will no longer validate. Thanks. line 1, column 1: XML parsing error: <unknown>:1:1: xml declaration not at start of external entity [help] <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> |

Yes, anyone know when we might anticipate a fix? This is an important feature for our library. Thanks! |

Could you please post a link to the feed in question? My first guess is that you probably have some ampersands in your event titles, which always seem to cause a problem even if we escape them (pesky XML) If you post some links I'll check into it for you. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Well, this is my RSS http://www.localendar.com/public/GardenCityLibrary?style=M3 which I feed into the front page of my website. But the feed is not working. This is what I see where that feed should be: XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity Location: http://www.localendar.com/public/GardenCityLibrary?style=M3 Line Number 1, Column 2: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> -^ |

Would you believe that in a recent change, a single space was added to the beginning of the feed, and that threw things off? Not even a space in between any elements; literally the first character of the feed was a space. " <xml..." instead of "<xml..." Computers are amazing inflexible sometimes. ![]() Anyway, problem fixed and you should be good-to-go. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
