Two points -

-When I go into any of the discussion boards there are no links to bring me back to the calendar I was viewing.

-How can I customize the Search Categories so I dont have to list everything in the generalized 'sports' category? I'd like to have Pro MMA Events, Ammy MMA Events, Pro Muy Thia/Kick boxing, Ammy Muy Thai/Kickboxing, BJJ/Grappling ect.

Correct; there is currently no link between the forums and calendar although the HTML for both is very simple:

http://www.localendar.com/public/yourmembername (for the calendar)
and
http://www.localendar.com/forums/yourmembername (for the forums)

The categories will actually be retired shortly in favor of custom user tags on events. Existing category choices will be converted to tags, and tag entry will be auto-suggested based on past entries the calendar owner has supplied.
