I have a premium calendar that incorporates 8 merged calendars. I can't seem to find a way to access the "Legend for Merged Calendars" colored buttons. I'd like to give the viewer access (with HTML code) to click on each button in the Legend and have that click open a new window that shows that merged calendar. How can I do that? |

I've been working on this all morning and know that I can add HTML code (but only one command at time) to the Nickname box in the Merge Calendars area. But, I'd like to add enough HTML code to say this in the box that represents each merged calendar: Click to View < in small font Name of Calendar <in normal font and have that "click" open a new window that shows that calendar. I also know that I can just make my own boxes with HTML and that does work (using the Footer window) (see stdemetriosyouth calendar) but if I do that, how do I make the "Legend for merged....." box not appear for those merged calendars? I don't need both lines. Thanks. |

Having the names in the merge legend automatically jump to the calendars is a great idea. But between your Printable view issue and the export to Outlook, etc, I think we have out work cut out for the next couple of days.. but we'll get to it! ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Thank you for getting to those other issues. They are more urgent. Actually, if you make the connection possible for this other issue, I think I've already got the HTML code ready. I'll keep checking back. Thanks for your hard work and for keeping in touch. Great calendar! |

That's terrific!!! Will this be an automatic thing where the calendar will open in a new window when the user clicks the button on the Legend or will I be writing HTML code somewhere? Please let me know - in case it isn't self-explanatory when you get it up and running. Thanks for the great extra feature! |

I still love it, but on closer inspection, I've noticed that the style on the calendar that pops up in the new window, is not the one I usually use (?style=M4). Is there any way the calendar style can be chosen on this end? I'll bet there are other people out there who love this new feature but would like to choose from the many styles you have to offer as well. |

Hmmm.. What it be enough if it carried over the view type from the main calendar you were looking at? That would probably be an easier change. Anything more complicated would require some more thinking-through from a user-interface perspective. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Yeah, that would work since the ?style=M4 will be programmed in when they access the calendar from the website. Once they open the new calendar, they can go to the week or daily view. Maybe in the future you could add a line to the merge page where the admin person could pick the preferred style when they pick their HTML color. For now though, that carry over works for me! Thanks. |
