when I try to export calendar I get the following:
"Web Sync plug-in failed to install." However when I re-load the page I get the same message, no "Security Warning" dialog box comes up so there is no prompt to install the plug-in.

appreciate your help.

Are you using Vista, perchance? We have seen some issues that appear to be a result of Vista's new security warning.. A recommendation from the firm that created the plugin is to install it as an administrator.

I've posted that on the forums before but not heard back if it was successful or not...

Ok.. So after 4 hours of reading posts in this and other forums and trying all the suggested fixes, I am still getting the

Wyncs - Web Sync plug-in failed to install.
Syncable links will not function properly!
To attempt to reinstall the Wyncs plug-in follow these steps...
Reload this page,
wait for the "Security Warning" dialog,
and click "Yes" to install the plug-in.

I am running windows vista - IE version 8

I have tried the fixes posted here with my tongue held in numerous positions both in and out of my mouth and even tried standing on my head...To no avail.

Does anyone have a definate fix to install the plug in ???

HELP Please !!!!!

Before I stand on my head, let me ask one more question confused

Did you sign into Vista as Administrator or use your regular account?

BTW, we're looking into Wyncs alternatives, but I'm hoping to get you working sooner rather than later.

LOL - Don't stand on your head.. I already did that...didn't work... It just made me have to read upside down and backwards.

Yes I have tried logging into vista as the administrator, Tried running as administrator from another account that has adminisrator rights... It just doesn't play nice at all..

I appreciate your reply.. And am anxiously awaiting any help or fix to make this work...

Since we are working on a bunch of things, I can't give a firm update on the Wyncs alternative (or even if it is fixed w/ Windows 7, in which case the priority might be altered)

However, using the flat-file export should still work, too. That is location at this page: http://www.localendar.com/elsie?JSP=Export
