Is it possible to make the background on month view transparent so that I can just use my actual site background ? |

A very good idea. We just added a "transparent" option in the drop-down background image selection box. Essentially, this is a transparent gif image that will give you exactly what you want. It won't change the color of your calendar when you're signed into localendar, but it will be transparent on what you publish on your site. Let us know how it works out. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Support - the transparent background is fantastic in every browser but Internet Explorer 7 & 8. The problem is iframes won't display transparency in IE7 & 8, so I have this problem too. Is there another way round this? This webpage: http://otaqui.com/blog/93/transparent-iframes-in-internet-explorer-using-javascript/ seems to suggest a solution - but it relies on the body of the iframe content being set to transparent - something we can't do! Any thoughts? Here's a page that demonstrates the problem: http://66.7.206.198/~stjamesn/page20.html Try opening it in Google Chrome - you'll see it picks up my site's background and looks great on it. But in IE it won't allow the transparency. Hope you can offer some help on this. Thanks |

Not only is there a way around it, you sent it to us, which is nice ![]() That should be ready to go for you know. I checked under IE7 and it's OK (we still have a few small other things to fix for IE8) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
