Hi there, I'm just experimenting with Localendar for the first time. So far, it looks promising ... thank you! I'm testing the notifcation system and it seems the meeting details aren't listed in the email. This is what I'm seeing: ************ You requested a reminder for the following item: [10:30 PM Jul 13, 2009] Bep's Test Event - Local Calendar Please bring pictures and supplies. We will caravan to the bowling alley from school. Thank you! null ************ I would think items such as meeting start time, duration and location should be listed in the reminder. I do see the text entered in "Description". Does the "null" indicate a problem here? Also, how many email addresses can I enter for the reminders? I did see in the forums that I can use the "pager" field also. I will need to enter 50-100 email addresses for a Cub Scout group. Thank you! |

The "null" is meant to be the location (or common location) info, and it's on our list to fix Start time is already there, although historically we havent displayed the end time or duration (I'm really not sure why) I think we support about 10 addresses each in the pager and email fields (which work the same way). I would suggest you set up a yahoo group for your large #. This will mean you only have to enter 1 email address, and you can manager the membership easily in 1 place (instead of constantly adding/removing people from the reminder section in localendar) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
