i am in the mist of finishing up my web site, i have added the embeded calendar but when i try to preview the site the calendar never shows up. keep in mind, i have not as yet published the site, would that be the problem.... please help

Do you mean the calendar shows up, but not your events, or that nothing whatsoever appears?

If the former: make sure you have marked your events as Public (not Private). If the latter, it's probably a case of a mistake pasting the html. I'd be happy to take a look at your html if you can share a link.

Also, it doesn't matter if you "publish" your calendar or not from localendar. Your public calendar view is always active from the moment you create your account. [Public] Events are updated automatically.

The "Publish" button on the left menu is just a convenience feature for creating the HTML you need to put the calendar on your site.
