I have inserted my calendar via iframe and added fully interactive, embedded option however I can only add events to the calendar.

Is there a way to add a delete feature or button?

Thanks!

No; events can only be deleted by signing into localendar.com. We do not allow events to be deleted from the public calendar view for security purposes.

It would be nice to have that functionality. Give us the option. For security's sake, when the user posts an event, ask for a PIN or their e-mail address. Then send the user an e-mail with a copy of their post with the option to edit or delete the event. This will be easier than having the user register themselves with an account.

We use this calendar for our family's website ( www.thewhitingfamily.org ) and most of our family members are not computer savvy. They know just enough to surf the web and send e-mails. Using the "e-mail a copy of the event" will help keep the posting process simplified and will encourage more interactivity.

Just my opinion, but I would love to have this function offered to us!

Thanks and we love the service!

Thanks Batman smile

Actually, what I meant in the prior post was that only the calendar owner could edit/delete events from the calendar once they have been added.

We do plan on giving users who have "anonymously" added an Event a url afterwards that they can use to get back to it if they want to add or remote it.
