I am having a terrible time trying to reliably link from my web site to a friend's calendar. My web site is: http://district24.freemason.com/ Sometimes a single click on the "calendar" button will work. Sometimes multiple clicks are required. Sometimes nothing works. Frequently after using the link once it will not work again. ![]() Occasionally all I get is three digits in the upper left hand corner of the screen. When this happens and I look at your web page source code it is only partially loaded. ![]() I have noticed these same problems on other web sites that link to a calendar on your site. My browser is Firefox but I have had reports of similar problems from other users who are running Internet Explorer. What is going on? |

Can you provide some of these other sites where you have seen this problem? The link works fine for me, and that's how people have linked to their calendars for years (over 11 years actually!) and this is the first I've heard of such a problem. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

The first time I tried this site the calendar did not appear. The second try I got it. http://www.npmhu320.org/ This one acted the same way: http://dt019.k12.sd.us/ This one worked: http://www.pennwynnepresby.org/index.html On this one I get a page of HTML code: http://www.localendar.com/public/SaberPHS This one worked: http://www.zoarumc.org/home.aspx?iid=70003 I get blank page here: http://www.localendar.com/public/TrinityMoscow This one worked on first attempt and then just produces a black screen with every other attempt. http://blog.bestflagstaffhomes.com/public/item/178523 As you can see there is no consistency. In addition I have considerable trouble simply going to localendar.com from a browser. Frequently links on some of your pages won't work. Very frustrating as I do not experience any problems like these with any other web site. FYI I am using Computer Associates Security Center, Firefox browser 3.5.8, and Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11. My OS is XP but I see basically the same thing on my laptop running Vista. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Roger |

All of those links display fine for me. I'm curious what other members who visit them experience. The last link doesn't even seem to be localendar, btw (and some of those webmasters really need to increase the Height setting in their HTML so the calendars aren't clipped) But back to your problem.. I don't believe it's an issue with localendar b/c believe me, we'd be flooded with posts. All of your OS and browser stuff is up-to-data, but the CA Security Center makes me suspicious. I would try disabling that and any popup or ad blockers you might be running and see if it makes a different. Most of the calendar examples you pasted had ads, and I wonder if SC is killing them for that reason. You can try hitting the calendars on our sample pages, which have no ads: http://www.localendar.com/homepage/samplecalendars.jsp ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

It may be the CA Security software's firewall. I don't know and can't afford to spend any more time on it. Even today I had trouble accessing localander.com and this forum. This is the only domain with which I have this problem. Strange! Thanks for your assistance. Roger |
