Been using the calendar for a year and now when I try and use the link or image link button it pops open a blank white box??? I have tried IE and Firefox both with pop-up disabled with no luck. Please help --I submitted a ticket 4 days ago with no response? |

Same here as well... Tried IE, Firefox and Chrome - turned off all known pop-up blockers - still get a blank HTML Link window. Need some fixes - I got a calendar that needs to be updated with links... I submitted a support request - no answers yet but only 24 hours so far. |

Just found a setting in Firefox that "may" have fixed the problem. Tools> Options> Content> click JavaScript Advanced Button Uncheck "Disable or replace context menus" After doing the above, the Link popup window worked as it should. What I don't know... did the above fix this problem or did Localendar Tech fix it at the same time??? Meanwhile - I'm working again for now. Have not tested the other browsers. |

We didn't change anything, so I'm curious if the other people having this issue can try alachuaabate's suggestion from the previous post and report back their findings. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Well... Sorry Marc - it's still not working. My fix mysteriously helped that one time and since then it's hasn't worked at all. I've tried different browsers and even different computers. It makes me think that if few are having this problem, then it may be "account" specific?? I can't find anything unusual that I am doing and after 2 years of using this service one would think I have figured out the proper routine. Two hours from now... all may be well, but sure is frustrating when I have to check constantly to properly complete an entry. Right now I having to copy the URL address and tell folks to copy and paste. |

Yeah I've been using localendar for several years and have never had this problem until now. I'm using IE 7.0 and haven't upgraded anytime lately, so I'm not sure where this problem is coming from. Any help would be appreciated. I submitted an inquiry as well and have a support ticket #. My links work in the public view as I'm just having to paste the URL to the add event but not able to paste it in the "Insert/edit Link" which is ultimately what I need to do so that I can select the link to open in another window. I'm also not able to Preview the event when I click on the Preview button... likewise, another white popup comes up. |

We have rolled-back to the previous version. Please let me know if the problem persists. This may come at the expense of better compatibility pasting from Microsoft Word. This shouldnt cause problems with Preview though. If this fixes everyone's problems, we're going to suspect it was still odd caching on browsers or from your ISPs. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
