Today I have been unable to input a description. Everything else seems to work, but I can neither type nor paste into the description window. As a test, I found I could delete a description - but now I can't put it back! It worked a couple of days ago. I can't enter description as a visitor using "add an event", either. =========================== 14 hours later - it's working again now. =========================== 5 minutes later - it isn't working now! ---------------------------------------- BillWhite36 ---------------------------------------- [Edit 4 times, last edit by hcacalendar at May 5, 2010, 5:59:10 PM] |

I'm not sure why you're having (or if you're still having) a problem, but perhaps you can post the description you are using. Also, if you are Pasting from Word, I suggest you paste into Notepad first. Word adds a lot of baggage underneath the text you see. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

It seems to be off and on. When it happens, I can't even type into the description box.The cursor won't even show. That eliminates WORD as the culpret. I have found a work-around: paste into the HTML box first. But my tests show that sometimes I, as a visitor, can't type into the description box either. Yes, I understand the "junk" WORD adds and found pasting into WordPad could remove it, but the HTML workaround does that also. However, the HTML way destroys my formatting. And that doesn't help a visitor if he has the problem. ---------------------------------------- BillWhite36 ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by hcacalendar at May 5, 2010, 6:04:31 PM] |

When the cursor doesn't even show.. is that right after the page loads, or have you tabbed away to copy the text from somewhere else? When the box is "frozen" does the rest of your browser work OK? Are there any error messages or alters on the browser's status bar? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
