My boss wants to sync the office calendar I created here on his IPad. He already has another Localendar calendar for his kid's sports team that syncs but when I try to add the office calendar it always says cannot verify (I have set up 2 different calendars and tried it) any ideas on getting multiple calendars to sync on the IPad? |

I'm guessing you're trying to add this as an iCal import? It would help for you to give me the member name of the calendar having issues so I can run it through a few iCal validators as a first step. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

MLOffice is the first Calendar I created and tried to sync. I am not all that familiar with IPad and don't have access to it now. I am adding it in the same area as one adds new Email accounts and he is trying to sync it the calendar feature of the IPad. The address will show in the drop down menu for calendars but has a red dot next to it. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by Mspibb at Dec 1, 2010, 11:38:12 PM] |

I pasted the URL of your iCal feed, http://www.localendar.com/public/MLOffice?style=X2 into the iCal validator at http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/ and it said the feed was valid. I'll have to borrow an iPad and see if I can replicate the behavior you're getting. I'm not sure what the iPad is expecting for input (it could want an Apple iCal, which is also the name of the calendaring app Apple has, and not the open iCal standard. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

The thing is he has another public Localender that is syncing for him. That is why I don't understand why this one won't sync. When I add the URL and it tries to validate it very quickly gives a message that it cannot validate the information. |

I am using an iPad now, and I can't see where to import an iCal feed. I found this online:
Is he using a different 3rd party calendar app on his iPad? Or is he importing iCal into iCal on a Mac, and then trying to sync that Mac to his iPad? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by support at Dec 16, 2010, 8:11:14 PM] |

No, not using a Mac to sync. The calendar function on his IPad is pulling in the information for another public calendar though so I'm not sure how that one is working. |

On my wife's iPad, there is no option to pull an iCal feed into the calendar app Apple supplies with the device. Can you find out where he his going to add a calendar url? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
