I received an email stating:
"A new event has been added to your calendar. Click here to access this event."
It contained information about an event. When I clicked on the link, it took me to the calendar sign in which I did. Then it opens in the current month. Below the event info it says:
"Tip: You can view all events submitted to your calendar at http://www.localendar.com/calendar/submitted".
When I go to that link there are NO events listed. What happened to the event? I had to copy and paste it from the email into the calendar.
The link has worked in a couple of recent emails to take me right to the event but not now. Is something not working with the calendar? Has anyone else had the same problems? Please help. Having it set so the person adds their own event seems useless if I have to end up doing it.

I can check the logs. It's possible that someone pasted something crazy into the editor (say, from Word) and clicked submit.. and that you received the notification even though the event was never saved properly.

We've put in some checks already. Word is usually the cause since the copy/paste looks successful, but under the covers Windows makes a mess of things. I'd be curious if you knew the contributor if you could ask if they pasted from another app.
