Edit this Post   Mini-calendar scripts broken? Reply to this Post

[Delete this Thread]

I've had a mini calendar (Today + coming soon) embedded on my website for a year now, and suddenly today it is all messed up. It breaks my whole webpage, which makes me think it's creating some extra /div tags or leaving some tags open somewhere. Please take a look at your script and see if you can straighten it back out. I've had to remove it from my website for the time being, but look forward to getting it back on there.

Thank you.

Thanks for the post. Is there a chance you can put your script on a temporary page somewhere and give us a link?

We did roll out a major change behind-the-scenes, and it will result in a really big announcement in the very near future. We did a lot of testing beforehand, because we were concerned about potential impact to existing sites.

Can you tell me what include style you were using? iframe? non-interactive embedded?

Thanks for your reply and interest in fixing the problem.

I was using the non-interactive (javascript) embed.

Here's the temp page you asked for:
http://www.mountmoriahbaptist.net/brokenindex.html

Please compare it to:
http://www.mountmoriahbaptist.net and notice how much is under the calendar's spot on the working webpage.

The space where the calendar would normally go, on the real webpage, currently has a note saying that the calendar is malfunctioning - but otherwise, up until yesterday, that's how the full webpage looked, but with the calendar neatly embedded. As you can see by comparing the two, there are several <div> sections of the page collapsed when the calendar is included. Also, originally, the calendar showed up with a transparent background, and now on the broken version, it does not.

Btw, If you load the webpage in Firefox and look at the error console, there are a LOT of errors showing up from the localendar js.

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help you troubleshoot it.

Thanks for making that page available. After burning a little midnight (well, more like 2am ;-)) oil, the problems with that publish style should now be corrected.

Please let us know if you're still experiencing problems!

Thanks for all the work to fix the problem that was breaking the rest of the webpage.

Any idea why the transparency used to work, but no longer does?

I think we fixed something that was broken in the first place during all this smile

We've made an update that should make it work correctly again. Please let me know if we're OK (fingers crossed)
